Lagarta / Caterpillar

Para criarmos a lagarta, começamos pesquisando sua morfologia para entendermos a sua estrutura. Para confecção contamos com a ajuda da "bonequeira" Mírian Rolim que conseguiu fazer uma estrutura flexível tornando o movimento da lagarta natural e tomando o cuidado em destacar os gomos do corpo.

To create the caterpillar, we began to researching their morphology to understand its structure. For the construction we had the help of "puppeteer" Mírian Rolim who managed to make a flexibles structure making the natural movement of the caterpillar and taking care to highlight the buds of the body.

Borboletas / Butterflies

Para criarmos as borboletas optamos por uma espécie da fauna brasileira. Na pesquisa de referência encontramos a família de borboletas Morphos que são azuis e habitam as florestas tropicais.

O estudo da morfologia nos ajudou a entender a estrutura do corpo e das asas. Utilizamos a técnica de escultura de papel, para proporcionar leveza e delicadeza às borboletas. O papel color plus 120g foi usado para o corpo e os veios das asas. Para a textura da asa utilizou-se papel washi (papel japonês) e pintura em aquarela para as nuances. Foi necessário a produção de borboletas nos tamanho: 1,5cm e de 7cm.

To create the butterflies have opted for a species of brazilian fauna. In the reference search we found the family of butterflies Morphos that are blue and inhabit the tropical forests.

The morphology study helped us understand the structure of the body and the wings. We use the technique of paper sculpture, to give lightness and delicacy to butterflies. The paper color plus 120g was used for the body and the veins of the wings. For the texture of the wing used the paper washi (japanese paper) and watercolor painting for the nuances. It was necessary to the prodution of butterflies in size: 1,5cm and 7cm.

Caixas / Boxes

Boa parte da animação passa-se no interior de uma sala repleta de caixas, que estão fechadas, empoeiradas e sem cor devido ao tempo. para a montagem desta cena, foram produzidas 1.100 caixas de vários tamanhos e envelhecidas.

Much of the animation takes place inside a room full of boxes, which are closed, dusty and colorless due to time. For this scene, 1.100 boxes of various sizes and aged.

Gaiola / cage

Gaiola - Árvore / Cage - Tree

Através da técnica de escultura de papel, criamos o modelo de árvore que deveria crescer suavemente e ter a maleabilidade para movimentar os galhos à medida que cresciam. No total foram feitas 16 árvores de tamanhos diferentes, sendo a menor de 5mm e a maior com 180mm.

Through the technique of paper sculpture, created the tree model that should grow smoothly and have the flexibility to move the branches as they grew. In total were made 16 trees of diferent sizes, being the smallest with 5mm and the largest with 180mm.
